New leader for iNOBox
As of September, researcher Tone Mari Rode has taken over as project manager for iNOBox.
Rode is already responsible for the project’s research on high-pressure processing technology and the work of ensuring microbiological safety and quality, and is thus well acquainted with the project.
“iNOBox is a resilient project, not least because we work with so many innovative technologies, and because so many different participants are involved.
I have experienced that the cooperation is good across both national borders and subject areas, and despite the challenging corona situation, progress is good,” says Rode.
It is still uncertain whether the planned research stays at Nofima and the University of Zaragoza can be completed.
Rode and the host institutes are following the situation closely.
Estefanía Noriega Fernández, who has so far led the project, has been given one year’s leave from Nofima on the occasion of her new position at the EU’s food safety authority, EFSA.
